Step 1 - Mail Items Summary
You must fill in the mail item details from the notice on this page.
Date on Notice: Input the Notice Date. Use the calendar to select a date by clicking on the appropriate day.
Route Number: This is the Route Number marked on the notice. Please enter what is recorded in this field.
Track & Trace Number: If a Track & Trace number is specified on the notice please enter it in the field provided.
Service: This is the type of service used for the mail item specified. Please choose the appropriate service from the list provided.
Step 2 - Mail Items Summary Page
This page is a summary of the item(s) you are having redelivered.
The “Add another item” button will return you to the previous screen and allow you to add another item. The restricted amount is 3 items.
Step 3 - Enter Contact Details and Address
Select if the original delivery address is Residential or Business and supply your contact information.
The address finder facility should be used to search for the correct address. Enter your Eircode or 3 parts of your address (Example: D01 F5P2 - OR - O'Connell Street Lower) into the "Postal Address" box and click "Search for your address".
One or more addresses may be displayed on the screen, click on your address to select it and the page will automatically display and populate the Address fields.
If the address is not displayed it is possible to repeat the search by clicking the "Change Address" (previously the "Find Address") button and repeat the search process.
If "No matching addresses were found" is displayed, tick the “Can't find your address? Check this box to enter your address manually.” option and enter the address in the input fields that appear.
If the address is being entered manually then the full address and eircode should be entered.
Alternate Address
To nominate an alternate address tick the " Please tick this box if you wish to enter an alternate address for the redelivery" option. This will extend the page and allow the input of the alternate details.
The address finder facility should be used to search for the correct address.
An Post will not be liable for delays to mail redelivery due to incorrect addressing of mail if the Address Finder has tool has not been used.
Confirmation
This page displays a summary of your redelivery.
The details should match what you have entered in the previous screens.
The “Edit” buttons will allow you amend any information that you entered.
